Italbras involved in funding another ABO research project

Once again Italbras renews its commitment to support scientific research by financing an important and innovative project in the field of “analysis of the redo-status of proteins in neoplasic tissues and plasma” carried out by ABO Project. Italbras's involvement with ABO Project, which commenced in 2003, stems from the deeply held belief that the support provided by private industry to scientific research is fundamental to actively contribute to the fight against today’s illnesses. ABO (Biotechnology Applications in Oncology) is an organisation supported by finance from private donors belonging to the ‘Industrial Association’ and other similar organisations. ABO’s aim is keep research into cures for cancer at the forefront so that private companies are stimulated to increase their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) in this particular area. ABO Project aims is to transfer the optimum results of work on patients, in the shortest time scale possible. Research is carried out by Network Scientific ABO, a network of specialised research centres and hospitals around the world, active for years in the field of Biotechnology applications and Oncology.
