Italbras gains ISO 14001 certification

Italbras has always been a company attentive to the environmental impact of its activities. Not only does it respect all the requirements of current legislation but Italbras has for some time been proactive in the implementation of measures that safeguard the environment, following the guidelines set out in the normative UNI EN ISO 14001:2004. The undertaking which has involved various members of staff and resources over the last year, has led to the definition of a company environmental policy aimed at continuously identifying and implementing objectives for improvement in this area. The philosophy of continuous improvement has highlighted areas and activities that interfere with the environment which require specific actions must be undertaken to specify controls, to prevent and contain the impact of any potential negative events. Italbras does not see the attainment of certification as an end in itself but rather as a starting point for the identification of further improvements for the future.
